Mysterious(Dokkeabi) Road Jeju
Sometimes, what you see is not really the truth. After fetch my rented car from Avis Jeju, I head straight to Mysterious Road which few km away from Avis office towards Seogwipo. I’ve read about it on internet about the illusion happen at this road, so decided to go and witness myself. Please see the few pics below which I took there and tell in which direction should your car move when your car in free gear mode. All the photos below took from the same direction.
The car should go downhill right? My thought was same as you, but in fact, my car was moving BACKWARDS! I tried it with my water bottle and it moved to the same direction. Hmm, sometimes just don’t fully trust your own eye!
